The event was hosted by Mimosa Grill in order to raise awareness towards Child Hunger in the United States, in which one in five children are affected.   Over 16 million children in the US are not getting enough food to eat. In Mecklenburg County alone, nearly 53,000 children live in food insecure households – that’s more than 22% of all kids in the state. Hunger keeps kids from reaching their full potential.   With the help of all sponsors the [No Kid Hungry](http://t.sidekickopen16.com/e1t/c/5/f18dQhb0S7lC8dDMPbW2n0x6l2B9nMJW7t5XZs65jPYlW5v0NQW5vfQzgW8q5y9d56dw41f5TMX1K02?t=http%3a%2f%2fwww.nokidhungry.org%2f&si=5577890339487744&pi=cf269cb5-5c94-4cfd-a9b6-0d746d0012d7) campaign raised $22,500 to help ensure that children in North Carolina and across the country receive the nutritious meals they need to lead healthy lives. CCS Construction Staffing is more than happy to have collaborated in such a great cause.   Post by [matttelmanik](https://blog.staffccs.com/blog/author/matttelmanik) Sep 15, 2015 10:48:13 AM ### Related Articles ##### [![CCS Construction Staffing Wins Best Places to Work Fourth Year in a Row](https://blog.staffccs.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/564087067.jpg?width=520&height=294&name=564087067.jpg) Events • Nov 20, 2018 7:26:00 AM CCS Construction Staffing Wins Best Places to Work Fourth Year in a Row 1 min read](https://blog.staffccs.com/blog/2018/11/20/ccs-construction-staffing-wins-best-places-to-work-fourth-year-in-a-row) ##### [![CCS Construction Staffing Wins Best Places to Work Second Year in a Row](https://blog.staffccs.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/BPLW.jpg?width=520&height=294&name=BPLW.jpg) Events • Nov 28, 2016 6:59:59 AM CCS Construction Staffing Wins Best Places to Work Second Year in a Row 1 min read](https://blog.staffccs.com/blog/2016/11/28/ccs-construction-staffing-wins-best-places-work-second-year-row) ##### [![CCS Construction Staffing Makes Mid-Market Fast 40 List](https://blog.staffccs.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Team-Mid-Market-2016.jpg?width=520&height=294&name=Team-Mid-Market-2016.jpg) Events • Sep 21, 2016 3:55:42 AM CCS Construction Staffing Makes Mid-Market Fast 40 List 1 min read](https://blog.staffccs.com/blog/2016/09/21/ccs-construction-staffing-makes-mid-market-fast-40-list) [![CCS-Logo](https://blog.staffccs.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/CCS-Logo.png?width=168&height=45&name=CCS-Logo.png)](https://www.staffccs.com/) 3600 N.
